Folland Sports F.C.

Folland Sports F.C. is an English football club based in Hamble-le-Rice, near Southampton, in Hampshire. The club are currently members of the Wessex League Premier Division, and play at Folland Park.
==History==
The club was established by workers of the aircraft factory of Hamble-le-Rice in 1938 and was originally known as Folland Aircraft. During World War II players from Portsmouth and Southampton worked in the factory and played for the club, which won the Hampshire Senior Cup in 1941. In 1942 the club won the Senior Cup again, along with the Hampshire League and the Russell Coates Cup.〔
The club was renamed Folland Sports and drifted between county and local leagues until the 1980s.〔 In the 1979–80 season they won Division Four of the Hampshire League and the Intermediate Cup.〔 The following season they won Division Three, and in 1985 won the Southampton Senior Cup. After finishing second in Division Two in 1985–86 they were promoted to Division One.〔 They finished third in their first season in Division One, again winning the Southampton Senior Cup, and subsequently joined the Wessex League in 1987.〔〔
In 1990 they were renamed Aerostructures S&S and entered the FA Vase for the first time. In 1998 they were renamed again, this time adopting the name Hamble ASSC. In the 2008–09 season the club was relegated to Division one but a season later were promoted back as champions.〔 The club adopted the name GE Hamble in 2011 after the club’s parent company transforming from Aerostructures Hamble Limited to GE Aviation Systems (Aerostructures Hamble) Limited in October 2007.
At the end of the 2012–13 season, the club changed their name back to Folland Sports.
